Advantages of the Ledger Nano S Plus

• Supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies: The Nano S Plus supports the same coins and tokens as the Nano X, Flex, and Stax.
• Very affordable: The Nano S Plus costs only €89, including shipping.
• Build quality: The Ledger Nano S Plus is rarely defective.
• Ledger Live: The Nano S Plus works with Ledger’s application, Ledger Live. This app also offers additional features like buying, selling, and staking directly within the app.

Disadvantages of the Ledger Nano S Plus

• No iOS support: The Nano S Plus cannot be used with Apple (iOS) phones.
• No Bluetooth and no battery: The Nano S Plus can only be used with a cable. If you want to use it with an Android phone, you’ll need to connect it via a cable.
• Small screen and only two buttons: The screen on the Nano S Plus is very small. All navigation and transactions are controlled with just two buttons, which can make navigation or transaction processes less intuitive.

Who is the Ledger Nano S Plus suited for?

We recommend the Ledger Nano S Plus for people who want to use their wallet:

• with a Linux, Windows, or macOS computer.
• more frequently than just a few times a year.

If you’re interested in the Nano S Plus but want to use it (among other things) with your Android or iOS phone, we recommend the Ledger Nano X.

If you plan to use your Ledger frequently, we suggest the Flex or Stax. Both are more expensive but well worth the investment due to the ease of use these wallets offer. The large touchscreen on the Flex and Stax provides a much better experience than the small screen and two buttons on the Ledger Nano devices.
