Advantages of the Ledger Nano X

• Supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies: The Nano X supports the same coins as the Nano S Plus, Flex, and Stax.
• Features Bluetooth and a battery: This allows you to use the Nano X anywhere with your iOS and Android phone.
• Also compatible with PCs: Even with the Bluetooth feature, you can still connect the Nano X to your Linux, Windows, or macOS computer via a USB cable.
• Ledger Live: The Nano X works with Ledger’s application, Ledger Live. This app offers additional features like buying, selling, and staking directly within the app.

Disadvantages of the Ledger Nano X

• Battery issues: Unfortunately, there have been many examples of battery issues in the past. Over the years, there have also been various bugs related to this. However, we believe this issue rarely occurs with newer models. In any case, there’s a two-year warranty after purchase.
• Small screen and only two buttons: Like the Nano S Plus, the screen of the Nano X is very small, and all navigation and transactions are controlled with just two buttons, which can make navigation or transactions less intuitive.

Who is the Ledger Nano X suited for?

We recommend the Ledger Nano X for people who want to use their wallet:

• with an Android or iOS (Apple) phone.
• on a monthly basis or a few times a year.

If you’re interested in the Nano X but only want to use it with your computer, you can also consider the Ledger Nano S Plus.

If you plan to use your Ledger frequently, we recommend the Flex or Stax. Both are more expensive but well worth the investment due to the ease of use these wallets offer. The large touchscreen on the Flex and Stax provides a much better experience than the small screen and two buttons of the Ledger Nano devices.
