Trezor T Review
We have thoroughly tested the Trezor T, the first hardware wallet with a touchscreen. The results of our test are written out on this page. This will help you easily decide whether this wallet is the right choice for you.

Advantages of the Trezor T
- Touchscreen: The Trezor T features a touchscreen, which enhances ease of use.
- Bitcoin-only firmware: Like other Trezors, the Trezor T allows you to install Bitcoin-only firmware. This means you can’t manage other coins with your Trezor T, and there is no unnecessary programming code on your wallet.
- Open-source: The software code of Trezor is fully open-source, allowing the community to review it for potential bugs.
Disadvantages of the Trezor T
- No Secure Element: Like the Trezor One, the Trezor T does not have a security chip. This makes the wallet vulnerable in case of physical theft. We recommend only using the Trezor T in combination with a 25th word or passphrase.
- Limited network support: While the Trezor T supports Ethereum, Solana, and Cardano tokens, it does not support other networks. For newer networks like Kaspa and Base, this wallet cannot be used.
Who is the Trezor T suitable for?
The Trezor T is ideal for crypto users who plan to use the wallet with a passphrase. It is also the most affordable hardware wallet with a touchscreen.
However, if you are more serious about Bitcoin or crypto, we recommend purchasing the newer Trezor Safe 3 (without touchscreen) or Trezor Safe 5 (with touchscreen) instead of the Trezor T.
